Dinkey Lakes Wilderness

The Dinkey Lakes Wilderness Map shows complete coverage of the wilderness area, which is part of the Sierra National Forest. The main access for hikers is from the Courtright Reservoir, which also allows access to the famous Dusy Ershim OHV Trail. This difficult 4×4 route winds for 31 miles in a wilderness corridor directly between the Dinkey Lakes and John Muir Wilderness areas. There are several other access points for hikers, but all require driving on a dirt road. The area boasts a network of trails that access incredible lakes beneath towering granite peaks. Also shows equestrian pack stations off Kaiser Pass Rd and Florence Lake.
